When I called I actually spoke to a live person who understood how the medical alert system works and was so knowledgeable. It was easy to choose your service because I immediately got all of my questions answered.

“The system works…even in the front and back yards!”
I was really impressed that the system works all over her house and even in the front and back yards. Also, when we tested it out the automated voice that first comes on to let you know that the monitoring console received the signal from the pendant button is so nice and loud. You could really tell that your push of the button had been picked up by the machine. When the live person came on the machine, it was really comforting knowing that this is what my mother would hear if she had a fall or another sort of emergency.

Since we ordered the monitoring, my mother has had one significant fall and the monitoring was her rescue! A nice woman came right onto the console and was able to talk to my mother even though she could not get up. My mother asked her to call her next-door neighbor who came over and helped her. The operator stayed on the line until the neighbor arrived to help.

My mother had taken a few bad falls. My sister and her husband live within blocks from her but I felt that that wouldn’t do much good if they didn’t know she needed help because she couldn’t get up to reach for a phone. By the way, I’m SO GLAD we had one of your lock boxes for the door key. How else could they have gotten in if they couldn’t have gotten the key? It’s good to know that we can easily change the combination too. It just makes me feel that you have thought of everything.
